Today I have an old school pro-tip that some of you may not have heard of – using melted beeswax to temporarily adhere your pieces of glass for painting to your tempered glass easel. In this way you can work upright and get all your painted detail to follow through accurately.
It does, however, take a steady hand to apply the melted beeswax. When I was an apprentice I decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle of removing all the blobs of wax from the surface of my glass (due to my not having yet developed the afore mentioned steady hand) so I used copious amounts of plasticine instead.
