I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather! I’m having fun finishing the full size drawing (known in the biz as the “cartoon”) for the first window in a sequence for St Joseph’s, Langley. The first stage of the process was the scaled water colour design, and now the cartoon is an interesting combination of sweeping lead lines and intricate detail. This serves as both a practical guide for the glass painting stage as well as a very clear illustration to our clients of the artistic depth that goes into each stage of our process.
